About Me:

Hi, this is Pan Dulce Co.

My love for cooking started pretty simply. I’ve always enjoyed watching cooking videos and trying new recipes just for fun. One year during Black Friday, I bought my KitchenAid mixer (back when the sales were actually good!), and that’s when I really started getting into baking and experimenting in the kitchen.

When COVID hit, I found myself cooking and baking even more. With stores running low on certain items and fewer places open, I started making more things from scratch like homemade bread, pizza, and desserts. What started as something to pass the time quickly turned into something I genuinely loved doing.

I began sharing what I made with friends, family, and coworkers. I kept hearing the same thing over and over “you should sell these!” For a long time, I brushed it off because I was nervous about actually selling my food. But after a few years of baking and building confidence, I finally decided to go for it.

I invested in ingredients, packaging, labels, got my food handler certification, and even built a website. I started selling at local pop-ups, seasonal markets, and community events. It was such a fun experience and really pushed me out of my comfort zone.

Eventually, things slowed down. The farmers market I was part of closed, and fewer events were happening, so I decided to take a step back from selling. But I still wanted to stay connected to something I enjoyed, which is how this blog started.

Now, I share my recipes here. The same ones I’ve been making for my family, friends, and customers. My goal is to keep things simple, realistic, and affordable. I know how frustrating it can be to find a recipe you’re excited about, only to realize it requires a long list of expensive ingredients you don’t have. That’s why I include cost breakdowns, so you know exactly what to expect before you start.

Here, you’ll find a mix of homemade favorites, comfort foods, and recipes inspired by things I’ve tried from restaurants. Everything made in a way that’s doable for real life.
